# CFE Validation
|
|
|
|
Validate extension XML files before building to catch errors early.
|
|
|
|
## When to use
|
|
- After modifying DataProcessor XML, Form.xml, or Configuration.xml
|
|
- Before running `python3 /netfolder-51/CMSCH/Extensions/build_cfe.py`
|
|
- When ibcmd import fails with errors
|
|
|
|

## Key rules
|
|
- Extension attributes: only Number, xs:string, xs:decimal (NO CatalogRef unless borrowed)
|
|
- UUIDs must be unique across entire XML
|
|
- Button/Command/Attribute IDs can overlap between sections, NOT within same section
|
|
- ConfigDumpInfo metadata must match all objects
|
