+# CFE Validation
+
+Validate extension XML files before building to catch errors early.
+
+## When to use
+- After modifying DataProcessor XML, Form.xml, or Configuration.xml
+- Before running `python3 /netfolder-51/CMSCH/Extensions/build_cfe.py`
+- When ibcmd import fails with errors
+

+## Key rules
+- Extension attributes: only Number, xs:string, xs:decimal (NO CatalogRef unless borrowed)
+- UUIDs must be unique across entire XML
+- Button/Command/Attribute IDs can overlap between sections, NOT within same section
+- ConfigDumpInfo metadata must match all objects
